Don’t miss out on fleet professional development forum

There's still time for fleet operators and suppliers to book onto the next professional development forum from the Australasian Fleet Managers Association (AfMA). AfMA is partnering with Brake, the road safety charity on this forum, to focus on safety and technology.

The forum takes place on Wednesday 17 October, 8am-11am, at the Novotel Ellerslie, Auckland.

Attendees at the event will hear speakers from the fleet and road safety industry discuss fleet safety, the role of telematics, and the development of autonomous technology to improve overall vehicle safety.

Fleet managers, health & safety professionals, driver trainers, HR professionals, fleet suppliers and anyone else with responsibility for at-work drivers or an interest in fleet safety is invited to attend.

Speakers at the event include:

  • Jason Stapp - NZ Racing Board
  • Martin Faulkner - Mazda
  • Caroline Perry - Brake, the road safety charity

Caroline Perry, Brake's NZ director, said: "Driving for work involves many risks. Being aware of the latest developments in safety and technology can help fleet managers to implement measures in their organisation to tackle road risk. I encourage fleet operators and suppliers to take advantage of this opportunity to discuss fleet safety."
