Time is running out to enter Brake’s Fleet Safety Awards 2015

Fleet operators and suppliers are being urged to enter Brake's Fleet Safety Awards 2015. The road safety charity is reminding companies they only have four weeks left to enter. Due to last minute interest, the deadline for entries to Brake's Fleet Safety Awards has been extended to Friday 19 June 2015.

Brake's Fleet Safety Awards is a prestigious awards programme, recognising the achievements of organisations and individuals working to reduce the number of road crashes involving at-work drivers.

This is the first year that Brake has run the Awards in Australasia, building on the success of its UK Fleet Safety Awards which have been running for over a decade.

Organisations who want to be in with a chance to win need to download and complete an entry form from www.fleetsafetyawards.com/nz by Friday 19 June 2015.

The award winners will be announced on Thursday 1 October 2015.

The awards are being offered in five categories. Entering is easy, via one simple entry form.

This year's awards will be offered in the following categories:

  • Company Driver Safety Award (sponsored by SurePlan)
  • Fleet Safety Product Award
  • Safe Vehicles Award (sponsored by Telogis)
  • Road Risk Manager of the Year Award (sponsored by Suzuki)

Caroline Perry, Brake's NZ Director says: "Entering the Fleet Safety Awards is a great opportunity for organisations and individuals to gain recognition and prestige for their successes in improving fleet safety. We know there are lots of organisations doing fantastic work already to tackle their road risk. I'd urge any organisations with at-work drivers or with an interest in improving road safety to enter and gain recognition for their fleet safety efforts. These awards are a great opportunity to celebrate their successes and share best practice within the industry.
